Statistics New Zealand (NZ) has been gathering ready mixed concrete production data as an indicator of construction and economic activity since the early 1990s.

The data is presented quarterly (March, June, September & December) across the following 'regions':

• Northland
• Auckland
• Waikato & Bay of Plenty
• Gisborne & Hawke's Bay
• Taranaki, Manawatu-Wanganui & Wellington
• Otago & Southland
• Canterbury
• West Coast, Tasman, Nelson & Marlborough

and ‘metropolitan’ areas:

• Auckland
• Wellington
• Christchurch

From this data ‘national’ figures are calculated.

Concrete NZ has packaged the quarterly data into a 4-page summary as listed below.

• March 2022
